Relax with your eyes closed and spray onto your face, forehead and neck anytime you feel your skin needs a moisture boost. Pat the Serum Mist on with clean hands if desired. You may also find that spraying a little before or after you have applied the day or night creams helps lock-in moisture to further soothe and cool skin.

Caution: If skin irritation occurs, we recommend adjusting the amount used to best suit your skin’s sensitivity and/or needs. Sometimes skin will react to a product change but normalizes after a few days. If the irritation persists, discontinue use of any new product. Aloe Vera: For centuries, Aloe has been used as an intensely soothing, moisturizing, and restorative skin beauty treatment with a powerhouse of antioxidants, (vitamins A, C, E), anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, protective (from UV damage), and soothing skin-calming anti-ageing effects. The amino acids and active enzymes also help to deliver a visibly smoother, brighter, more youthful complexion.

Citric Acid: Citric acid is a natural compound found in citrus fruits, oranges, lemons, tomatoes, pineapples, etc.,  that has been known since the late 18th century.  Do not be confused with vitamin C. Citric acid is an acidic antioxidant, and vitamin C is ascorbic acid. In skin care, Citric acid can help in the exfoliation of dead skin cells, balance the pH, work as a protective antioxidant, brighten dull skin and dark spots, help unclog pores, remove excess oil, enhance collagen synthesis production, improve the quality of elastic fibers, and density of water-binding glycosaminoglycans,  protect the skin from oxidative damage and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Though Citric acid is not an essential vitamin or mineral, it can help the body absorb certain minerals, like calcium and phosphorus, and acts as a preservative, helping slow the formation of bacteria, mold, yeast, and fungus.

Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil Expressed (Orange Oil): This is a natural extract from the rind of the sweet orange and contains vitamin C, B complex, and ascorbic acid. Minerals include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, ferric, magnesium, and manganese. Also, there are carbohydrates, carotene, natural polyphenols, flavonoids, essential oils, pectin, and phytosterols. It is anti-inflammatory (helps reduce redness and acne-type conditions) and has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, which are good for skin texture and soothe dry, irritated skin.  It is often used to help brighten and smooth the complexion, making it healthier and more youthful.

Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil: Rich in antioxidants, sea buckthorn oil offers strong protection against stressors that hasten the signs of aging. It's brimming with polyphenols, flavonoids, micronutrients, and vitamins A, C, and E, all working hard to neutralize the threat of external aggressors. These antioxidants work to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plump the skin, and even out tone and texture.

Limonene: This is a natural ingredient found in essential oils, and a major constituent of citrus fruit peel oils, and also found in lower levels of many fruits and vegetables and plant oils like mint, dill, caraway, and celery seed oil, rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, and peppermint. If you have any allergies, please read the ingredient lists and/or test the product on some part of your body, i.e., upper underarm, belly, or neck, first to ensure there is no reaction. If your body does react, then do not use that product. You may want to consult your healthcare professional if you are uncertain about possible sensitivity.

Once again, even “natural and organic ingredients” can cause reactions in some people, especially if they contain essential oils. Again, before using a product that you believe may have those oils that you have previously been sensitive to, test it on a small area of skin.
